IDENER is the REWET project coordinator and leader of the following Work Packages: WP1 (Project management), WP2 (Open Labs and monitoring), WP3 (Mapping), and WP6 (replication and business models). IDENER is a private research SME company composed of a team of researchers with a sound scientific background in disciplines comprising the branch of systems engineering, systems integration and control, and process engineering. From his foundation in 2010, IDENER has been positioned as a valued partner of top European Research centres, Universities and technology firms.

KNEIA, as WP7 leader, is responsible for the exploitation, dissemination and communication activities of the project. KNEIA deploys a multidisciplinary approach in order to satisfy clients and partners in the fields of exploitation and dissemination consulting, innovation-based scale-up, training, and technical direction and assistance.
- BOKU - UNIVERSITAET FUER BODENKULTUR WIEN(Austria)
The University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (BOKU) will act as coordinator of the Open Lab #2 in Austria. BOKU is one of the Life Sciences universities in Europe, distinguished by its holistic approach to research and teaching. It will bring to the REWET project its expertise in nature-based solutions for wetlands restoration and environmental engineering.
- FIC - FUNDACIÓN PARA LA INVESTIGACIÓN DEL CLIMA(Spain)
The Climate Research Foundation (FIC), as WP4 leader, will participate in the Project as experts in climate change modelling. This organisation has more than 30 years of experience in climate change research and has developed its own methodology for the statistical downscaling of climate scenarios with the intention of producing knowledge about future climate behaviour and fostering climate change adaptation.

Wageningen Environmental Research (WEnR) is a research institute which is part of Wageningen University and Research. The research institute offers a combination of practical, innovative and interdisciplinary scientific research across many disciplines related to the green world around us and the sustainable use of our living environment. WEnR will act as coordinator for the Open Lab #2 located in the Netherlands, collaborating with their expertise on wetlands ecology and GHG measurements.

The University of Eastern Finland (UEF) is the most multidisciplinary university in Finland. Their research is ranked among the best in the world in several fields, such as atmospheric and environmental science. UEF will coordinate Open Lab #3 in Finland as experts on peatlands restoration, biodiversity and ecology.
- UOULU - OULUN YLIOPISTO(Finland)
The University of Oulu (UOULU) will support the research activities performed by UEF in the Open Lab #3 in Finland as experts in water treatment and analysis. UOULU is a northern, international science university that creates new knowledge, well-being and innovations for the future through research and education. The University of Oulu, founded in 1958, is one of the largest and most multidisciplinary universities in Finland.
- WI-EA WETLANDS INTERNATIONAL - EUROPEAN ASSOCIATION(Belgium)
Wetlands International (WI-EA), coordinators of the Open Lab #5 in Belgium, is an independent, not-for-profit organization with 11 members from 7 European countries. They work to raise awareness about wetland ecosystems and to advocate for the sustainable use of wetlands for people and nature, in particular by linking science, policy and practice.

STROMING is a consultancy company for nature restoration and landscape development. In REWET, Stroming is an affiliated entity to WI-EA, and will also participate in the restoration and monitoring of Open Lab #5, focusing on sponge solutions.
- BAX - BAX INNOVATION CONSULTING SL(Spain)
Bax is a leading European innovation consultancy. They collaborate with policymakers, practitioners and researchers to develop and implement innovative science-based initiatives that promote nature-based solutions to environmental challenges. With a strong emphasis on peatland and wetland restoration and conservation, their projects deliver substantial ecological and societal benefits. In the REWET Project, they will participate as policy observatory, contributing to local stakeholders' engagement and creating business models.
- IUCN NL - STICHTING IUCN NEDERLANDS COMITE(The Netherlands)
The National Committee of The Netherlands (IUCN NL) is part of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the largest union for nature conservation in the world. Within the REWET project, IUCN NL is coordinating WP5 Enabling Policies. Focus is on policy guidelines linking REWET with other European and international frameworks.
- KU Leuven - KATHOLIEKE UNIVERSITEIT LEUVEN(Belgium)
KULeuven partner, from the Behavioural Economics and Engineering Group (BEE), will lead the activities related to social sciences and humanities (SSH), including the gender dimension, the acceptance of restoration among key stakeholders and the long-term effects of restoration, such as on their well-being and willingness to collaborate in similar initiatives.
- UT - TARTU ULIKOOL(Estonia)
The University of Tartu (UT), coordinator of Open Lab #4 in Estonia, is the oldest and largest higher education institution in Estonia and has been the centre of Estonian academic life for almost four centuries. It is ranked in the top 1.2% of the world's universities, making it one of the leading universities in Northern Europe. They will bring their expertise to the REWET project in Eddy Covariance and wetlands’ GHG modelling.
- UniPR - UNIVERSITÀ DEGLI STUDI DI PARMA(Italy)
The Università degli studi di Parma (UniPR), founded in 962, stands out for the wide diffusion of cultural initiatives for scientific dissemination defined as "Third mission" and the intense cooperation activity within European Union programs and other international projects, with a strong impulse towards internationalization. They will act as coordinators of Open Lab #6 in Italy, as wetlands GHG measurement and experts of biogeochemical carbon and nitrogen cycling.
- ADBPO - AUTORITÀ DI BACINO DISTRETTUALE DEL FIUME PO(Italy)
The Autorità di Bacino Distrettuale del Fiume Po (ADBPO) is a non-economic public body, which operates under the supervision of the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security (MASE). ADBPO is a place of unified understanding and operational synergy between all the institutional bodies interested in safeguarding and developing the Po Valley, characterized by complex environmental problems. The ADBPO’s aim is to implement a coherent and sustainable water protection policy, operating for the protection and management of water, in the implementation of the Water Framework Directive, and hydrological risk, in the implementation of the Flood Directive. They also represent the management entity of Man and the Biosphere Programme (MAB) Po Grande Reserve which is located the Open Labs #6 and they will support UniPR in the coordination of Open Lab #6, focusing on citizens' engagement.
- RSS - REMOTE SENSING SOLUTIONS GMBH(Germany)
Remote Sensing Solutions (RSS) is one of Germany’s leading value-adding companies in Earth Observation. They will participate in the REWET project bringing their specialized services in satellite image processing, thematic mapping, environmental monitoring and spatio-temporal analyses. The production of satellite derived products of the Open Labs and their surrounding areas will be key for the calculation of GHG emissions by image.
- UEVORA - UNIVERSIDADE DE EVORA(No Country)
Universidade de Evora (UEVORA) in Portugal, is the second oldest university in the country and was established in 1559. UEVORA will coordinate the Open Lab #7 in Portugal, focusing on ecosystems conservation, paludiculture and bird monitoring. MED Research Centre brings its expertise to biodiversity monitoring and restoration of wetland habitats.
- CMA – CAMARA MUNICIPAL DE ALPIARÇA(Portugal)
Camara Municipal de Alpiarça, acting as manager of the Paul da Gouxa Nature Reserve, will support UEVORA in the citizen's engagement activities and co-developing the restoration practices in Open Lab #7 located in Portugal together with Quinta da Atela, the private owner of the majority of the nature reserve.
